Juhi Sharma, is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker based in New York and Mumbai, specializing in documentaries, fiction films, music videos, and branded content, with a keen focus on portraying the stories of women and underserved communities. 

 

With work spanning 10 years, she has been a part of over 50 films as a Director of Photography and is currently building her reel as a director. She has travelled, lived, and worked in the USA , UK, UAE and India. 

 

As a DP, her films have premiered and played at the Oscar Qualifying Film Festivals. Previously, she co-directed and shot the India portion of Convergence: Courage in a Crisis which theatrically premiered at IFC, New York, and is available to stream on Netflix. She also served as  a DP on Amazon Prime Video’s first non-fiction documentary series in India, Rainbow Rishta which premiered at Jio MAMI Film Festival, 2023. Juhi has served on the jury for the News and Documentary Emmy Awards in 2023.
